Podobné systémy sú na trhu k dispozícii, ale väčšina konkurencie je schopná zmeniť buď len tlmenie, alebo len krivku pruženia tlmiacich platforiem – nie oboje naraz ! U väčšiny z nich je dokonca len obmedzená na odomknutie či zamknutie tlmiča , alebo vidlice ( nie súčasne ) bez možnosti zmeny kompresie.

Máte súčasne 3 bicykle v jednom. Žiadne prestavovanie, prerušovanie jazdy, či zosadanie z bicykla. Len jedno cvaknutie páčkou na riaditkách umožní prepnutie v 3 rozličných režimoch jazdy.

Systém funguje prepojením vidlice, tlmiča a rámu prostredníctvom ovládania na riadidlách. Vďaka ovládacej páčke si môže užívateľ vyberať z troch režimov – Descent, Traction Control a Lockout.

Režim Descent - patentovaný tlmič FOX Nude obsahuje dve vzduchové komory. V režime Descend (zjazd) sú obe komory otvorené, čím vo finále tvoria jednu veľkú objemnú komoru. Z toho plynie plný rozsah dostupného zdvihu zadného kolesa. Ako vidlica, tak tlmič sú teraz úplne nastavené na zjazd v plnom rozsahu oboch komôr tlmenia
TwinLoc umožňuje konštruovať bicykle s nekompromisným výkonom pri zjazde. Twinloc je schopný zoptimalizovať geometriu aj tlmenie bicykla na zjazd bez toho, aby sa musela obetovať ktorákoľvek iná vlastnosť.

Režim Traction Control - V režime Traction Control je jedna komora uzavretá, objem vzduchu v tlmiči menší. Zdvih je nižší O 60% a krivka pruženia progresívnejšia. To v kombinácii s väčším tlmením pri stláčaní tlmiča vedie k niekoľkým zmenám. Pri prechode z režimu Descent do režimu Traction Control zmení systém v prvom rade geometriu bicykla. Sedíte vyššie, výška od povrchu terénu k pedálom je väčšia a vy sa následne posuniete viac dopredu do pozície účinnejšej pre vynaloženie energie pri šliapaní a zvládnutí technických stúpaní. V konečnej fáze sa bicykel stáva obratnejší, svižnejší a efektívnejší bez toho, aby pri tom došlo k negatívnemu ovplyvneniu trakcie, alebo citlivosti. Tento režim je ideálny na plynulejšie, menej technické úseky, kde musíte s bicyklom „pumpovať“, aby ste získali rýchlosť, príp. na technické stúpanie, kde trakcie a komfort musia byť čo najlepšie bez nepríjemného podkĺzavania zadného kolesa v zábere.
Keď prechádzate z plne otvoreného režimu Descent do režimu Traction Control, jedna zo vzduchových komôr sa uzavrie a dôjde k obmedzeniu zdvihu tlmiča. To vedie k dvom zmenám – väčšiemu tlmeniu a progresívnejšej krivke pruženia. Vykonanie jednej zmeny bez druhej dramaticky znižuje výkon. TwinLoc je jediným systémom tlmenia, ktorý vie súčasne zmeniť ako krivku pruženia, tak aj tlmenie. Prechod terénom je plynulý a zachováva sa vynikajúca trakcia, záber, bez úniku energie, či podklzavania kolesa.

Režim Lockout - Režim Lockout je najtvrdším z troch možných nastavení. Tento režim je ideálny na hladké rovné cesty, alebo na prístupové cesty k začiatku trailu, prípadne na ostré stúpania po spevnenom povrchu. Režim Lockout však vie navyše zmierniť pôsobenie neočakávaného veľkého nárazu v prípade, že vojdete do drsného úseku, a tým predchádza vzniku možného poškodenia vidlice a tlmiča.

TQ HPR50 Motor

TQ is a German company founded in 1994 who specialize in electric components across a range of industries. With the HPR50, they simply rewrote the rules, delivering an unprecedented weight/power ratio of 1.8 kg for 50Nm. With a diameter of 8 cm, TQ has innovated by using a harmonic gear system. This allows for a reduction of size, while also increasing the accuracy of the system. This results in a lighter bike, better integration, while reducing backlash for a more natural pedalling sensation. This technology also allows for the reduction in system noise for a truly natural experience. After all, you are in the outdoors to, well, enjoy the outdoors.

TQ HPR50 Battery

The Lumen features a 360Wh internal battery which can be further complemented by a 160Wh external range extender. Thanks to TQ’s electronic expertise, the HPR50 battery, when combined with the range extender, guarantees maximum performance right through until empty. TQ use specific battery cells to ensure both the battery and range extender continue at full output, even as it reaches low capacity. The system can be charged with the range extender in place, the smart charger, prioritising the bike battery’s charge first, so you’ll never be caught short when heading out to ride. he Lumen features a 360Wh internal battery which can be further complemented by a 160Wh external range extender. Easily fixed to the front water bottle mount with our unique SCOTT designed quick release mount, the range extender features a slim design and low weight, meaning minimal impact on the bike’s handling.

TQ HPR Display

To maintain a clean cockpit, the TQ system puts the focus on a minimalistic display located in the top tube. At a glance, the LED display provides all the essential info, such as the battery level %, remaining KM range and even Watts, thanks to an integrated power meter. Want more? Link up your phone and dive deep using the TQ E-Bike app, available through the Apple App or Google Play Store. With an automatic Bluetooth connection, you can track your ride and customize your modes. Want to use it with a bike computer? That’s no problem too. Utilizing the built in ANT+, the system easily connects with a bike computer such as a Garmin, Hammerhead or Wahoo unit.

TQ HPR50 APP

The TQ app offers real benefit and is easy to use. It’s easy to connect, customize and control your TQ-powered e-bike with the TQ E-Bike app. The bike comes with a suggested SCOTT motor tune, with the app you can further tune your drive unit to either save battery life or maximise the power output. You can alter the pedal response either for a faster motor uptake or to slow it down for a more natural feeling. Lastly you can customize the display, altering the order and number of screens available, turn on and off control sounds etc.

Scott Lumen TQ HPR50 Range-Extender

Unlike most full suspension E-Bikes, on the Lumen there is no need to choose between the range extender or a water bottle - between longer rides and staying hydrated. Thanks to the integrated shock there is space for both an external battery and water. An optional sliding mount system also allows an easy switch between the rear water bottle and the range extender, allowing both to be easily transported when out on longer rides.

Scott Lumen Chain Line

The TQ motor allows Scott to keep a standard Q-factor with a 55mm chain line – exactly the same as the Scott Spark. This allows Scott to do a few interesting things. Firstly, they can guarantee great tire clearance while not sacrificing stiffness – which is key when it comes to power transfer. Secondly, it gives you the exact same rider stance and pedal width as on a regular bike.

Scott NUDE-Technology

Shocks with NUDE Technology have been intgral to SCOTT Full suspension bikes for nearly two decades. Working closely with their suspension partners, they continue to improve upon this technology so that whether you're racing World Cup's at the highest level or out for a big day in the mountains, you'll always have the best support on offer.

TwinLoc Suspension System

With TwinLoc, a rider can effectively control the complete frame, fork, and shock as a system. Why does this matter? A bike with 150mm of suspension travel, correctly set up, has more sag than a bike with 130mm. It's that extra travel that makes it more fun to ride and more capable on the descents, but the greater sag has an oversized effect on the bike's geometry and climbing performance. That's where TwinLoc matters.

TwinLoc helps manage the sag effect in several ways. Whereas most systems only increase low-speed compression in an effort to gain pedaling efficiency, TwinLoc allows Scott to not only change compression damping, but also to change the spring curve, dynamically altering the geometry of the bike. In Trail mode, the shock is not only firmer, but it has dynamically less travel. The bike sits higher, maintains a steep seat angle for those climbs, and becomes more agile. We also offer a third, full lockout mode for going up in the most efficient manner possible.

These unique settings optimize climbing geometry, even on longer travel bikes. We can eliminate the "long travel effect" that can rob your pedaling efficiency, but we're not robbing you of the full-fun, 150mm travel when you point it downhill. From a race setting, to a lunch ride, to an after work trail shred, being able to switch from mode to mode depending on a trails profile at the push of a lever is paramount to riding faster and having a damned good time.

29"-Laufräder

Improved roll-over is the most noticeable attribute when it comes to 29” wheels. The big wheels are great for rolling over nasty roots and rocky sections, essentially making it easier to ride these conditions. Improved traction is also a key factor with the increased wheel diameter compared to 27.5” wheels as tire contact to the ground is larger.
